Certified translation of documents for consular purposes

These may include translations of residency permits, employment contracts, rental contracts, bank statements etc. These may be needed for a wide variety of purposes, such as visa applications, emigration and the like.

- Please send a request for an offer to
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Please include a good quality scan of both pages of the Dutch Notice of the Granting of Citizenship (Bekendmaking) (at least 300 dpi). - I will send you an offer for the translation of the document.
- If you agree to the offer, kindly confirm this by email, stating your postal address. If you wish to collect the printed document, please state this as well.
- If the authority that requires the certified/sworn translation states that it must be attached to the original document, you will have to collect the translation in person or send me the original by post. Please contact me about this beforehand.
- Once the translation has been completed, I will send you an invoice. This should be paid in full before delivery of the translation.
- Once payment of the invoice has been received, I will send you two PDF versions of the certified translation. One version will be password protected, the other will not be password protected. The reason for this is that some authorities require password-protected electronic documents. Other authorities have automatic systems that convert PDF documents into a form that can be stored electronically and sometimes cannot process password-protected documents.
- In addition to the PDF documents, I will send you the printed, original version of the certified translation. This should be kept in a safe place. The printed version (hardcopy) with my signature and seal is the authentic (i.e. the legally valid) version which you may be required to show.
