For well over 30 years our company has worked for actuaries employed by small and large insurers and consultancy firms, which operate both nationally and internationally.
We translate offers by actuarial firms for the provision of services to insurers and pension funds, comparative studies of offers of insurers to pension funds, assessed by actuaries, correspondence in various areas, ALM studies, pension regulations, administration agreements and the like. In other words, our activities cover the full range of documents drawn up by actuaries for their (internal) clients and other business partners.
In particular, it has been our pleasure to have supported professional associations of actuaries throughout many years and by doing so to contribute to the activities of the profession.
As translators we were closely involved in the drawing up and implementation of the Financial Assessment Framework. We have also experienced high actuaries, as a profession, have become more and more broadly involved in the development of flexible reward systems (employee benefits), on the one hand, and how they have responded to the demand for their expertise in the area of risk management.
In the present climate of volatile financial markets, Solvency II, ORSA assessment frameworks, the profession will once again embark on a period of considerable change. It is our task to remain abreast of developments, both in the Netherlands and abroad, to ensure that we have the terminology and knowledge at our disposal to provide more than adequate support to our clients. However, we will never have the expertise of the clients we work for. Serving our clients involves a continuous process of learning through feedback and our own independent research.
